Mike Tyson's signature move looks even more brutal in slow-motion
Mike Tyson‘s favourite boxing combination has been doing the rounds on social media in recent weeks.
Otherwise known as ‘Iron Mike’, the youngest heavyweight champion in the history of the sport always favoured the right hook to the body, right uppercut to the chin, which almost always ended in the exact same way.
Well, what if we told you that it looks even more brutal in slow-motion?
New ‘slo-mo’ footage of Tyson’s preferred fight-ending sequence has been released – paying a compliment to the boxing legend’s mastery of the sweet science.
Slowed down footage shared on Twitter shows just how accurately Tyson – who made a remarkable comeback against Roy Jones Jr at the age of 54 – managed to find a home for his right hooks and uppercuts.
The montage starts with Tyson perfecting the technique with his legendary trainer Cus D’Amato.
It is then followed by footage of Tyson using it against Jesse Ferguson – who bounces off the ropes before crumpling to the floor in sheer agony.
Back then the American – who was still unbeaten at that time – was barely in his twenties.
