Mike Tyson fires back after Jake Paul taunts ahead of grudge fight on Netflix

Mike Tyson has voiced his conviction that Jake Paul is taking their impending fight 'very seriously', despite the latter's recent antics ahead of their contentious showdown next month. The pair are scheduled to face off on November 15 at the ATandT Arena in Arlington, Texas, with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulations recognising the match as a professional heavyweight bout.

As the clash approaches, some members of the boxing community have criticised the decision to go ahead with the contest after Tyson was forced to pull out from the original date, in July, due to an ulcer flare up. Following medical advice to stop training, the 58-year-old has since returned to the gym and insists he's ready for the fight.

While Tyson has ramped up his training regime, Paul has spent recent weeks posting videos seemingly mocking his opponent. Last month, the young contender shared a short video of himself lifting fake weights while wearing a fat belly suit.

Earlier this week, the 27-year-old once again took to social media, this time offering 'Iron Mike' $5million if the boxing legend can last until the fourth round. In a video shared on his gambling site Betr's TikTok page, Paul was seen lounging shirtless on a couch, stacking money on to his faux belly.

"Mikey, Mikey, if you can last more than four rounds with me, I'll give you an extra $5 million,'' Paul stated. The proposition from 'The Problem Child' came with a twist. He revealed that if Tyson couldn't last more than four rounds, the boxing icon would have to get a permanent reminder of his defeat. He added: "But, if you don't, then you have to get a tattoo that says I love Jake Paul. Deal or no deal? - as per reports from The Express.
