My question is, why mess with boxers in the first place?

You’d think going up against bada**, professionally trained athletes WOULDN’T be on most people’s bucket list, but alas, there are a few brave soldiers out there who have decided to take the leap, and been sent right back down to earth because of it.

The recent BOXPARK incident with former British heavyweight champion turned security guard Julius Francis has shed light on this, and is only one of many times fans have been humbled by the titans of the ring.

So, in the interest of pain and a good time, let’s look at those times.

Eddie Hearn Confronts A Disrespectful Fan

This may be a tad bit of a cheat, considering Eddie Hearn has never himself been a boxer beyond amateur efforts. Nevertheless, he sure made one fan completely wet himself after the Anthony Joshua/Oleksandr Usyk fight in September 2021.

Here, Hearn heard a fan calling him a p***** as he was stood behind Joshua, and promptly confronted him.

The fan promptly backed off, as Hearn approached shouting “what did you say” to a hilarious lack of response from the disrespectful fan.

Curtis Woodhouse Shows Up At Troll’s House

This one was back in 2013, but remains all the more shocking for the extent in which it got out hand.

Cyberbullied by Twitter account @Jimmyob88 after losing a light welterweight title fight, Curtis Woodhouse initially took the criticism from the account in his stride, before deciding to pay for the man’s address and drive to his house to find him. Presumably to enact brutal, bloody revenge.

Or, to just drive there and for the troll to not leave his house, as trolls do, and then return home himself.
