Mike Jackson happy to continue Burnley role after huge win over Southampton

Jackson oversaw the Clarets' 2-0 win over Southampton on Thursday as they hauled themselves to within one point of Everton in the relegation scrap.

For that to happen, Burnley will need to get something against Wolves at Turf Moor, but Jackson doesn't know if he will be in charge for it.

"The chairman the other day asked us to prepare for the game today and if the chairman asks us again to prepare for Sunday, that's where we're at.

"If the chairman asks us again for the game on Sunday we'll do that. We've thought ahead on that. We're just happy to be helping the club and helping the players perform."

"I think the players, and the group, have just remembered who they are, what they're good at and what they're capable of. I think it's just as simple as that.
