Michael 'Venom' Page set to fight Mike Perry in huge BKFC crossover fight

Bellator star Michael ‘Venom’ Page will fight Mike Perry this summer in a bare-knuckle boxing match.

In what may well be the most unlikely showdown of the year thus far, Michael ‘Venom’ Page is being loaned out to BKFC for a one-fight deal to take on Mike Perry. ‘Platinum’ is best known for his days in the UFC but ever since venturing out on his own, he’s done a pretty good job of making some headlines.

MVP, meanwhile, is considered to be one of the most entertaining and eccentric fighters of his generation. He’s 2-0 in the world of professional boxing with his bouts taking place in 2017 and 2018, and ever since then, he’s focused most of his attention on mixed martial arts.

BKFC president David Feldman had the following to say regarding the match-up, which will go down in London on August 20.

“This will be one of the biggest fights of the year, MVP versus Platinum Perry is truly a fan’s fight! Two guys that come forward and have power in both hands. I am very excited to make our BKFC debut in London with a fight of this magnitude. Fans of combat sports in the UK will truly enjoy this event, as well as around the world. Thanks to the Bellator Team for helping make this happen!”
