Michael Smith into another final at the Ally Pally

Michael Smith will have another shot at winning the World Darts Championship for the first time after overcoming German Gabriel Clemens in the first of the semi-finals at the Alexander Palace.

Smith was runner-up in 2019 and 2022 and will be hoping it will be third time lucky after dispatching Clemens 6-2.

'Bullyboy', who won his maiden televised title at the ninth attempt in November, was in imperious form, throwing 19 180s and taking out five 100-plus finishes, including a majestic 161.

The other semi is ongoing, with Michael van Gerwen taking on Dimitri van den Bergh.
