Michael Klim seen with a cane - two years after breaking his leg

Two-time Olympic gold medallist Michael Klim has been spotted using a walking stick while out with his mother in Melbourne - just days after watching the current crop of Commonwealth Games athletes in Queensland.

Klim also posted a cryptic message on Twitter on May 22, saying: 'Last beach walk with [partner] @michelle_Owen and [dog] Mike for a couple week [sic]'.

He returned from a family holiday with his partner Michelle and three children in 2020 with a blue cast on his left leg and walking with the aid of metal crutches.

The 44-year-old was spotted opening the passenger's rear door of an upmarket vehicle on Friday with his mother beside him while leaning his right arm on the walking stick.

He was wearing the same black long-sleeve shirt with white crosses on the back that he was
