Micah Richards takes down Thierry Henry for fashion choice – "It's getting to your head"

Micah Richards has brutally taken down Thierry Henry for the Arsenal legend's fashion choice during their appearance as pundits on CBS Sport.

The duo are part of the American TV channel's punditry team for the Champions League, alongside Jamie Carragher. They appeared on Tuesday night for the second leg of Liverpool's semi-final clash with Villarreal.

The trio have been the regular panelists for CBS' coverage of the Champions League over the course of this season and have developed a reputation for their light-hearted approach. Usually, that lighter approach does not extend to their clothes, with the pundits tending to wear full suits with ties.

That changed on Tuesday, though, with Henry arriving at the studio in a brown chequered shirt, but with no tie. Richards meanwhile wore a blue three-piece suit with a tie, while Carragher wore a black suit, with Henry looking like the odd man out.

Richards took little time to poke fun at the Arsenal legend's fashion choices. As Henry was introduced by Kate Abdo, he was asked: "Casual Friday on a Tuesday is it Thierry?" by the presenter.

Henry claimed that his choice of going without a tie was down to simple forgetfulness, saying: "Casual Friday because I don't know where my tie is. I have to be honest." That was not something Richards was willing to accept though.

The former Manchester City star brought up Henry's induction into the Premier League's Hall of Fame to take down his fellow pundit. Richards interrupted Henry to joke: "Honestly, Hall of Fame is getting to your head."
