Micah Richards and Jamie Carragher agree on Man City and Liverpool title prediction

Micah Richards and Jamie Carragher have both revised their Premier League title prediction after watching Tottenham stun Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium.

Inspired Harry Kane - who was priced out of a move to the champions last summer - Antonio Conte's side grabbed a dramatic late victory on Saturday evening.

It was a result that could have a significant impact on the Premier League title race.

Needing a win to bolster their charge for a place in the top four, Tottenham reigned supreme at the Etihad Stadium thanks to goals from Dejan Kulusevski and a Kane brace.

Earlier in the day, Liverpool came from behind to beat Norwich to keep up the pressure on City.

Jurgen Klopp's side are now only six points behind City with a game in hand. Liverpool head to the Etihad on April 9th in what is shaping up to be a crucial and potentially season-defining match.

So what has changed after Kane conjured up a masterclass on Saturday evening?

Speaking on Sky Sports, Richards said: " It's in Liverpool's favour now. If they come here [the Etihad Stadium] and win the game and do the rest that they need to do in the Premier League. I said before the game 'don't be complacent'. It wasn't just about City.

"Spurs were excellent, but I think City knew Spurs were going to drop deep and come on the counter-attack and that played into their hands."

Carragher added: " It's not just a massive day for the top-four race, but the title race. It's a tantalising prospect and Liverpool still have to come to the Etihad."
