Messi, Neymar, Mbappe: Salaries of PSG players revealed

It’s been a bad month for Paris Saint-Germain.

The French side’s search for a European Cup has been extended for another year as they threw away a 2-0 aggregate lead against Real Madrid.

Then, this weekend, they were humbled 3-0 by Monaco.

It will be a big surprise if manager Mauricio Pochettino is still in charge of the club come next season, while Kylian Mbappe’s contract expires at the end of the current campaign. Meanwhile, Lionel Messi is still struggling to find his best form at the Parc des Princes.

Therefore, it probably wasn’t the best time for French outlet L’Equipe to release a list of the top wages in Ligue 1.

Kylian Mbappe makes up the top three – although the Frenchman earns about half of what Neymar takes home. No wonder he’s reportedly keen to join Real Madrid at the end of his contract.

Eleven PSG players come next before the first non-Parisian in the form of Monaco’s Wissam Ben Yedder, who earns €650,000 per month.

Ben Yedder’s teammate, Cesc Fabregas, comes in as the 18th best-paid player.

Back on the pitch and, following PSG’s damaging 3-0 loss to Monaco, Mbappe demanded his teammates start showing some respect.
