Merson admits Arsenal ‘can’t have many excuses’ next season after ‘little chat’ with Edu
Paul Merson has hinted that Arsenal will have no excuses if they finish outside the top four next season after ‘buying well’ this summer.

And the club’s former midfielder Merson has revealed details of a conversation he had with Edu on Sunday.
He admits that Arsenal are “looking good” and has confirmed that the Premier League club are working on a “couple more” deals.
“I think top four will definitely be the aim.”

“They are looking good,” Merson told Sky Sports (quotes via the Evening Standard). “I saw Edu on Sunday and we had a little chat and I think they’ve bought well. They’re trying to get a couple more players in and I think they could have a good season, Arsenal.
