Men's Champ Week 2025: Best bets for Saturday's games - ESPN

Friday brought a ton of fun and interesting hoops all around the country, and Champ Week continues Saturday with an action-packed 22-game slate. With Selection Sunday only a day away, every game at this stage carries a lot of weight. We have some big ones on Saturday, too, including Tennessee-Auburn, Auburn-Florida.

Michigan State overcame a scare on Friday when guard Jase Richardson took a blow to the head, but fortunately he looked unbothered by it. Even with Richardson, the Spartans entered Friday as one of the worst in the nation in terms of 3-point efficiency. In fact, Richardson is the only one of their top six scorers shooting above 33.3% from 3-point range. That said, the Spartans have the defense to hold Wisconsin's 3-point happy offense down, as MSU ranks third nationally in 3-point shooting defense.

Cornell as a whole is greater than the sum of its parts, with an eight-man rotation that plays position-less basketball and excels on playing at a frenetic pace, ranking 26th in the country in most possessions per game.
