Mehdi Taremi valued at €20m by Porto amid interest from AC Milan in Primeira Liga's top scorer - reports

Porto's star striker Mehdi Taremi has been priced at €20 million (£17.1m) should a club wish to sign him this transfer window. The Iran international, who was the leading Primeira Liga scorer in the 2022-23 season with 22 goals, is reportedly a transfer target of AC Milan. Ad Iranian outlet Imna adds that Manchester United and Bayern Munich are also interested in signing the 31-year-old.

Taremi's contract expires at the end of the 2023-24 season, meaning the club would need to sell the striker by June 30 should they wish to extract maximum value from him if he decides not to extend his contract at Porto. Porto signed Taremi from Rio Ave in August 2020 for €4.7m (£4m) and he has a release clause of €60m (£51.3m).
