Meghan Markle crying as she's overcome with emotion at the Queen's funeral

The Duchess of Sussex was spotted crying as she left Westminster Abbey following the Queen’s majestic state funeral. Meghan Markle was seen wiping away a tear after attending the historic service for the 96-year-old monarch, who passed away on September 8 at her beloved Scottish home at Balmoral Castle.

Meghan, who accompanied her husband Prince Harry at the service, wore an all-black outfit with a wide-brimmed hat, accessorised with a set of pearl and diamond earrings gifted to her by Queen Elizabeth II back in 2018. Pearls are a traditional symbol of mourning in the Royal Family.

The duchess walked solemnly behind the Queen’s coffin alongside Harry. She then walked alongside Camilla, the Queen Consort, Kate Middleton, the Princess of Wales, and Sophie, the Countess of Wessex, as the royals left the Abbey.
