Medway Area Sunday League round-up (4/9/22)

Division 1 Cliffe Woods Colts Reserves got their season off to a flying start on the opening day of the new campaign.

Goals from Connor Linton (3), Courtney Linton, Ainsley Linton, Michael Mason and Henry McGuiness led Colts to a 7-0 win over Anchorians Athletic.

Cliffe Woods Rangers shaded Eagles 2-1 with goals from Steve Franklin and Ben Blake, Mat Smith with the reply for Eagles.

Omega 92 and FC Catalans played out a goalless draw while honours were also even between Riverside Academy and Milton & Fulston United, who shared six goals in a 3-3 draw. Jordan Gower (2) and Rodney Kumankumah netted for Riverside with Luke Mills, Josh Goldsmith and Nagene May on target for Milton.

In the Premier Division, Emmanuel Oli and Russell Toao-Doku goals were not enough for Bells as they lost 4-2 to Darland Spartans, who took the points through Dylan Budge, Yeni Yusuph, Lewis Jordan and Shaun McLoughlin.

Cliffe Woods Colts were shaded 4-3 by Chatham Town SR. Ashley Poppy, Tom Webb and Robbie Summerhayes were outgunned by John Brown (2), Danny Grant and Jack Couzens for Chatham.

Darius Young, Liam Cane and an own goal saw Rainham Kenilworth Athletic defeat Borden Park Wanderers 3-2 while Ethan Stewart netted the only goal of the game for Quested against Swale Madrid.
