Medway Area Sunday League round-up (24/09/23)

Chatham Town SR made it two wins out of two at the top of the Premier Division in the Medway Area Sunday League.

Goals from Caleb Bearman-Dyce and Emmanuel Abe secured a 2-0 win over Star Meadow.

Medway Invicta and Cuxton 91 both picked up their first point after sharing the spoils in a 2-2 draw.

Abdul Rahman-Sunmov and Avo Timoh scored for Medway with Jamie Reeves claiming a brace in reply.

Lewis Jordan and Zack Wells goals were not enough for Rainham Kenilworth Athletic as they lost 5-2 to Quested. Louis Valencia, Brad Schafer (2), Frazer Rogers and James Alderman were all on target.

In Division 1, Connor Rayfield scored a hat-trick for Medway Sport XI as they ran out 3-1 winners at Anchorians Athletic, whose reply came via an own goal.

Josh Wheeler and Ainsley Linton were on target for Swallow Rise 93 in their 2-0 victory over Borden Park Wanderers.

FC Catalans had Jordan Gower, Sam Crayford and Jack Yeowell to thank for their 3-1 victory over AFC Shorne.

Ryan Brightwell scored twice for Pentagon in Division 2 as they won 3-1 at ASK Medway. Bradley Killick also netted with Richard Humphrey scoring for Medway.

George Owen scored Eagles’ goal in a 1-1 draw with Riverside Academy while John Hickman and Ralph Bedford netted for Real 60, who drew 2-2 with Swallow Rise 93 Reserves.

In Division 3, there was a hat-trick from Elliot Huitson with other goals by Nigel Day and Billy Cobb as The Walnut Tree enjoyed a 5-0 triumph over Medway Rovers 20.

Josh Coombs scored the only goal of the game for London Road against Athletic Bilbowl.

Cantium lost 6-3 to Pegasus 81 despite goals from Harry Whitehead (2) and Dylan Lockyer.

Bailey Hooker and Josh Gray led Eagles Gold to a 2-0 victory against Bredhurst Juniors United.
