Medway Area Sunday League round-up (18/05/26)
Premier Division champions Quested are one game away from a perfect league season.
Goals from Fjord Rogers (2), Harry Lester, Jack Peters, Caleb Bearman-Dyce and Sam Stace saw Quested win 6-1 against Athletic Bilbowls on Sunday.
It means they’ve won all 17 league games they’ve played.
In Division 1, Malachi Benjamin and Jack Burnham (2) were on target in Cliffe Woods Colts A’s 3-2 victory over Real 60, who replied through Ellis Strum and Tyler Wilson.
Rochester lost 5-2 to Dockyard United with Jacob Palmby (2), Jack Palmby, Isaac Palmby and Jay Vincent all on the scoresheet.
In Division 2, Michael Adjei and Rich McKee were on target for Rochester Eagles in a 4-2 defeat to Wigmore Wanderers, whose goals came from George Mensly, Leon Vidler, Ronnie Porter and Kai Lyons.
In Division 3, Anchorians Rovers played a double header against Bredhurst Juniors.
Charlie Northwood and Brian Shaw saw Anchorians to a 2-1 in the first game, with Clayton Selway scoring in reply.
In game two, Kristian Nikolov, Connor Peckham, Tony Hobbs and Danny Proctor netted as Bredhurst won 4-1, with Louis Blanchard replying for Rovers.
Inter Rainham shaded Hempstead United 2-1 with goals from Jon Goodman and Nick Hadris. Andre Francis replied for Hempstead.
Dominic Kreimer claimed the lone strike for Palmerston Athletic in their 6-1 loss to Kent Marina, who had Scott Kavanagh (2), Ben Tubbs (2) and Adrian Periclanu (2) on the scoresheet.
Rainham 84 won with goals from Sam Wilson and Tyler Boreham against Rochester Eagles United.
Woodcoombe Sports & Social and Omega 92 shared the points in a 2-2 draw. Jack Ivory bagged both goals for Woodcoombe, with Aidan Harrington and Cameron Walker replying for Omega 92.
