Medway Area Sunday League round-up (13/03/22)

George Cowdrey scored the only goal of the game for Jimmy’s Giants as they reached the final of the Senior Charity Cup with a 1-0 win over Borden Park Wanderers.

Gillingham Town were shaded 3-2 by The Walnut Tree in their Junior Charity Cup semi-final. Chun Sing Yuen, Robbie Davies and Rory Howrihane all netted to send Walnut through to the final.

Three players scored twice in Quested’s 8-1 Super League win over Cliffe Woods Colts. Harry Lester, Ben Brown and Frazer Rogers were all at the double, Michael Jenner and Sam Welch also netting while Shaun Butler replied for Colts.

Taylor Bond scored the Cliffe Woods Rangers goal in their 1-1 draw with Darland Spartans.

Medway Rovers 17 went down 3-1 to Cuxton 91, whose goals came from Dan Haggar, Jamie Reeves and Emmanuel Usuah.

Tommy Davey (2), Aaron Lorentson and Nick Hadris netted for Medway Sport in their 4-1 victory over Bells.

Division 1 High Halstow triumphed in their top-of-the-table clash, winning 7-1 against Swallow Rise 93. Sam Crayford (3), Jez Hammond, Frank Kennedy, Joel Wakefield and Ross Wornham did the damage.

Cross Park and Milton & Fulston United played out a 2-2 draw. Dean Jenkins and Lennie Middleton scored for Cross Park with Jake Creed and Jack Glover netting for the visitors.
