Medway Area Sunday League round-up (03/03/24)

ASK Medway progressed to the Junior League Cup Final after beating Real 60 in the last four.

They ran out 6-3 winners thanks to Kieron Kennerly (2), Bobby Stuart (2), Josh Walters and Jae Humphrey. Charlie Burns, Kane Haysman and Brad Taylor scored for Real 60.

The Semi-Finals also took place for Junior Charity Trophy, with Anchorians Rovers and Wigmore Wanderers progressing.

Rovers beat Hempstead Valley 3-0 thanks to Ish Kpal, Danny Birch and Lewis Wells.

Wanderers reached the final after beating Kent Marina 19 7-0 with goals from James Lundie (3), Harry Smith, Ben Lucy, Jack Downey and George Hennessy.

Quested stay top of the Premier Division after winning 6-2 at Cuxton 1991. Fjord Rogers (3), Ben Brown (2) and Charlie Plummer outscored Robbie Keen and Harrison Teale.

Alfie Davey (2), Tom Davey, Caleb Dyce and Sam Davies were all on target in Chatham Town SR’s 5-1 victory over Star Meadow, who replied through Louis Harrison.

Wigmore went down 4-0 to Cliffe Woods Colts, who had Adam Bush (2), Bobby Noye and Harry Payne to thank.

Anchorians Athletic beat Borden Park Wanderers in Division 1 with goals from Jack Gladdish, James Staunton and Bola Dawodu.

Rainham Kenilworth 2 moved back to the top of the table with goals from Nathan Young (2), Karl Toop and Louie Murrell in their 4-1 win at Swanscombe Tigers, Scott Goodrich replied.
