Mbeumo signs, Watkins in, eight exits - Man United best case transfer window scenario
Manchester United and Ruben Amorim will still have hope they can have a successful transfer window despite very little business being completed so far.
United have made one new addition to their squad with Matheus Cunha completing a £62.5million move from Wolves. The signing of the Brazilian was expected to be the start of a busy summer window at Old Trafford that would have included several incomings and a few outgoings.
However, since Cunha was confirmed as a United player, there have been no major new signings or departures in the last few weeks. There is still time for that to change, with United having until September 1 to complete their transfer business for the summer.
United have welcomed Diego Leon to their squad this summer after a deal was agreed earlier in the year with Cerro Porteno. There have also been some departures in the form of free transfers that have been confirmed.
Christian Eriksen, Jonny Evans and Victor Lindelof all saw their contracts expire at the end of last season. Whether United will go into the market for replacements remains to be seen.
In terms of potential incoming business, United will hope to wrap up a deal for Bryan Mbeumo in the near future. There is still confidence from United that they can agree a deal with Brentford for the forward, despite having two bids rejected in recent weeks.
United may also look to sign a new striker in the remaining weeks of the summer transfer window. Juventus star Dusan Vlahovic is reportedly available for transfer this summer and could be an option worth considering, especially considering there is a possibility he could be available on a free. Another striker linked with United is Aston Villa's Ollie Watkins.
There are also rumours that United may
