Mayo banish 75 years of hurt to clinch All-Ireland title against Kerry

Mayo are All-Ireland Football Champions for the first time in 75 years, beating Kerry in the final.

They won by three points with a score of 1-20 to 1-17. 

Kerry had got off to a great start, and 1-02 from David Clifford helped them to a 1-04 to 1-point lead.

Two pointers from Jack Carney and Ryan O'Donoghue brought Mayo back into the game, and at half-time, the Kingdom had a one-point lead.

Darragh Beirne found the net minutes after the break, and Carney added another 2-pointer late on.
