Matthew Mott has kept things fairly familiar for his first ODI squad in charge of England ’s white ball teams.

The new coach has picked just two uncapped players in the 14-man squad to take on the Netherlands in Amsterdam later this month with Gloucestershire’s David Payne and Lancashire’s Luke Wood joining Eoin Morgan’s tour party.

There is a first England call up for fit again Sam Curran this year after his recovery from a stress fracture of the back, and likewise for Durham speedster Brydon Carse who is over a knee injury and is tipped for Test honours. Mott, said: "I'm very excited to be coaching a strong squad for my first series in charge. We have tremendous depth with a blend of youth and experience.

“We want to continue to play in an expressive style and let our players showcase their skills and firepower. The ODI side has had limited opportunities and last played in July. However, with about 18 months to the next ICC 50 over World Cup in India, our preparation will start ramping up.”

The 1st ODI will take place Friday 17 June, before the second match is staged just two days latr on 19 June. The series will conclude with the 3rd and final ODI on 22 June, with all matches taking place at the VRA Cricket Club in Amstelveen.
