Massive queues in supermarkets around Wales as shoppers pick up last minute items for Christmas Day

Queues of shoppers are already backing down the aisles of supermarkets around Wales as people look to pick up last minute items ahead of Christmas Day on Sunday. Many have seemingly left it until last minute to get what they need for the most festive day of the year, with shoppers spotted out in their numbers.

Pictures from Culverhouse Cross in Cardiff have shown how there are shoppers queuing in every aisle of stores, including Tesco, where customers will be hoping they have not left it too late to get everything they need to deliver a Christmas dinner with all the trimmings.
