Mason Greenwood's Man United Teammates 'Shocked And Appalled' After Arrest
The Englishman has since been released on bail pending further investigation on Wednesday after spending three nights in prison.
A source told the outlet: "Everyone is very shaken up. This is very different to the normal things they have to deal with."
On Tuesday, Man United confirmed the player would not be involved in training or playing until further notice.
"Manchester United reiterates its strong condemnation of violence of any kind," the statement read.
"As previously communicated, Mason Greenwood will not train with, or play for, the club until further notice."
He has also been removed from FIFA 22's offline modes by EA Sports.
This season, Greenwood has played 24 games in all competitions - scoring six goals.
He scored in his side's 3-1 win over Brentford last month.
