Gabriel Martinelli has said that he believes Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta will finish his coaching career with his name up in lights.

Arteta made his name as a player in the Premier League for Arsenal and Everton but soon stepped into management. And he got an instant taste for life in the dugout while working with Pep Guardiola.

Arteta spent over three years as the Manchester City manager’s assistant. As such, his coaching career started brightly as he learned from one of Europe’s most esteemed managers.

Still, Arsenal came calling in December 2019 after they sacked Unai Emery. Arteta stepped in and has overcome adversity to build solid foundations for the future at the Emirates Stadium.

Indeed, he looked one of the favourites for the sack at the start of the season. However, the Gunners are now in the driving seat for a Premier League top-four finish and Champions League football again.

Brazilian star Martinelli has been with Arteta since he joined and has expressed his admiration for the Spaniard.
