Marks and Spencer fans swear by 'liquid gold' anti-ageing serum with near-perfect five stars they've used for decades

Marks and Spencer fans and beauty buffs alike say they swear by a 'liquid gold' anti-ageing toner serum that makes skin 'glow' and helps to reduce age spots, fine lines and wrinkles. The £43 anti-wrinkle serum isn't the cheapest product on the market, but it has a cult following of women who have been using it for decades - with some saying they've been using it for 27 years.

Alpha-H Liquid Gold with 5% Glycolic Acid can be bought directly from the brand's website for £42.99. It is also available at upmarket retailers like Marks and Spencer and Cult Beauty.

The Liquid Gold anti-ageing toner contains 5% Glycolic Acid, which gently exfoliates to clear dead skin and pollution build-up. The toner has been created to resurface and revitalise the complexion, which will, in turn, improve luminosity and tone.

The Liquid Gold anti-wrinkle toner also has anti-ageing properties, as its ingredients assist in stimulating collagen production and minimise the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, pigmentation, open pores and sun damage. The toning serum is hydrating and promotes moisture retention, while strengthening the skin's protective barrier.

It has a pH of 2.8 - 3.0, which temporarily compromises the skin barrier to facilitate deeper penetration of active ingredients - something which Alpha-H insists 'is a good thing' - and the clinical trial results appear to confirm it.
