Mark Kheirallah made available as Super League clubs consider mid-season pick-up

Super League clubs have once again been offered the services of Mark Kheirallah following his departure from Toulouse Olympique. Rugby League Live has learned that clubs were informed of the fullback's availability this week, days after his exit from the French club was formally confirmed.

Kheirallah, whose contract with Toulouse was terminated for serious misconduct, has not played since guiding the club to Million Pound Game glory over Featherstone Rovers. His agent, Damien Dussault, made him available to clubs once again this week, with the 32-year-old now chasing a return to action.

It remains to be seen if clubs will make a move for Kheirallah, who was previously a target of Daryl Powell several years ago while he was at Castleford Tigers. Championship clubs could also make a move for him after dominating the competition for several years.

Kheirallah has been a star performer for Toulouse for the best part of a decade and won the Championship player of the year award in 2018. As it stands, there is not thought to have been any substantial interest though that could change in the coming days.

Toulouse, who stunned the rugby league world by defeating Super League champions St Helens on Saturday, have replaced Kheirallah with Olly Ashall-Bott.
