Marcus Rashford urged to take Las Vegas holiday to rekindle Man Utd career

Louis Saha has urged Marcus Rashford to go and take a holiday in Las Vegas after a disappointing season in a Manchester United shirt.

The 24-year-old has scored just five times in 31 appearances across all competitions and is on course to finish with his lowest goals return in a single season since making his professional debut in February 2016. Rashford has hit at least eight goals per campaign during his career to date.

However, his form has dipped since Euro 2020 and the surgery he had to have on his shoulder during pre-season. This forced him to miss the opening seven Premier League matches, returning for the trip to Leicester City on October 16, where he scored in United's 4-2 defeat.

Some supporters felt this was going to be the platform for Rashford to build on but he netted just one goal in next 11 top-flight matches. As a result, Cristiano Ronaldo, Anthony Elanga and Jadon Sancho are all above him in the pecking order at the Red Devils.

Ex-United forward Saha believes that Rashford should take a break from football and have some time to think about his career. But the former France international is sure he will be back to his old self next season.

"I think he needs to go on a holiday, have a Las Vegas trip and enjoy himself as much as he can! He should not be dropping in confidence at all," Saha has told gamblingdeals.com .

"He just needs to get back to where he was when he was 19, not
