Marcus Rashford: Ian Wright sends passionate message to Man Utd star

It really has been a tough old season for Manchester United’s Marcus Rashford.

The English frontman has looked a shadow of his former self this year, struggling to make any sort of tangible impact at Old Trafford.

For someone as immensely talented as Rashford, the alarming drop off has made for a worrying turn of events for fans.

His body language has just seemed off, his touch has deserted him and that killer instinct in front of goal has certainly gone missing in action.

It all came to a head on Tuesday night as United crashed out of the UEFA Champions League and Rashford confronted a mob of fans outside Old Trafford.

Rashford has since apologised for the part he played in the altercation but Arsenal legend turned pundit Ian Wright has come out today and said the forward does not owe anyone an apology.

In a passionate, x-rated video uploaded to his social media channels, Wright called on the English star to stand his ground.

“Someone just sent me the video of Marcus Rashford confronting the fans after they were digging him out,” he begins.

“I don’t know who is doing it, who is doing this apologising for him but what the f*** is he apologising for that for?

“That’s what gives these fans that fuel to make them think they can just dig people out. Marcus, stand your ground.

“Don’t be f***ing sorry for that, bro. Some of these fans half give it but they can’t take it. You just do your stuff get back to where you need to be.

“F*** them fans.”

Some strong thoughts from Mr. Wright but very well said.

There can be no denying that Rashford is enduring one of the toughest spells of his career and the fan ire can hardly be of any help.
