Marcus Rashford follows in Cristiano Ronaldo and Kylian Mbappe's footsteps as new Nike collection drops

Marcus Rashford's new boots, trainers and lifestyle capsule range has been revealed by Nike.

The United star has been partnered with Nike throughout his career and a video was teased on the brand's social media channels last week suggesting an official launch was imminent. The collection, which came out on October 30, sees the 25-year-old forward handed his own official colourway for the Zoom Mercurial Vapor 15 boots he wears along with a host of other products.

The signature boot means Rashford now follows Cristiano Ronaldo, Neymar and Kylian Mbappe in getting his own bespoke boots from Nike. Branded 'Better Believe it', the collection features boots, a tracksuit, t-shirts, a new limited edition ball and trainers.

The brand new boots contain a white base complemented by some strong neon detail but they're perhaps secondary to the collection's most interesting item, a pair of Air Max Pulse. In what is a testament to Rashford's star quality, on and off the pitch, he now follows in the footsteps of sporting great Michael Jordan by being given his own version of the Air Max Pulse which include his ‘MR’ initials on the tongue.

The new boots, branded as Nike Air Zoom Mercurial Superfly IX “Marcus Rashford”, come in white with a neon cascade colourway that blitzes the soul of the boot in a swathe of electric pink, orange and yellow. Most notably though it's what's written on the boots themselves that stands out.

Wrapped around the heel and base of the boot is the phrase "when you believe in yourself, incredible things can happen". As Rashford himself said, the bold design had to come with a message of empowerment with the United man saying: "If I were ever to design a boot, it had to mean something."
