Marc Diakiese is ready to silence doubters at UFC Columbus

UFC lightweight Marc Diakiese is ready to prove himself to the mixed martial arts world when he returns to action this weekend.

While he may not have even reached the age of 30, Marc Diakiese is still known by many as a veteran in the UK MMA game. From BAMMA to the UFC, he’s been a consistently entertaining force of nature at 155 pounds – and while Viacheslav Borshchev will serve as a tough test in Columbus on Saturday, ‘Bonecrusher’ is feeling confident.

“I know he’s a good kickboxer, comes to fight, and that’s all I know about him. I’m just trying to go out there and put on my own show – I’m not trying to think about what he’s going to do or whatever,” Marc told GiveMeSport.com.

“I’m trying to put on a show for the crowd. In like three years I haven’t fought in front of a crowd, so I’m just excited to go out there. It’s my show.”

“I truly feel like I’m still learning, honestly. I had nine amateur fights and now I’m 14-5 as a pro, so I feel like I’m still learning in the game.

“I still feel like I’m new in the game. I’m only 29, and I’ve still got a lot to give.”

“Obviously I’ve lost three [in a row before], so I know how to
