Mansfield Town vs Sheffield United confirmed teams as Paul Heckingbottom names strong XI
Sheffield United come up against a few familiar faces as they face Mansfield Town in a behind-closed-doors friendly this evening. Ex-manager Nigel Clough is in the dugout alongside assistant Andy Garner, while players Kieran Wallace, John-Joe O'Toole and Stephen Quinn could also line up against their former employers.
The kick-off has already been put back to the later time of 8pm due to today's heatwave, and there will also be water breaks as part of the plan to help the players cope with the temperature.
Tonight's match is the fourth of six pre-season friendlies as manager Paul Heckingbottom continues his side's preparation for their Championship opener at Watford on August 1.
They enjoyed comfortable victories against Casa Pia and Lincoln, but slipped to a 3-2 defeat to Scunthorpe on Saturday.
Heckingbottom has handed in his teamsheet and here is the Sheffield United starting line-up.
Foderingham, Baldock, Ahmedhodzic, Gordon, Clarke, Stevens, Norwood, Berge, Osborn, Ndiaye, Brewster
Amissah, Fleck, Egan, Broadbent, Robinson, Coulibaly, Arblaster, Osula, Norrington-Davies, Jebbison, Gomis
