Mandriou on verge of Lincoln move from Shamrock Rovers

Shamrock Rovers manager Stephen Bradley has confirmed that midfielder Danny Mandroiu is on his way out of the club as he prepares for a move to English League One side Lincoln City.

Lincoln, who had attempted to sign Bradley as their manager at the start of the summer, continue to look towards Tallaght, with Mandriou having already undergone a medical there.

"Danny has been brilliant for us and I don’t want to see him go but he’s up at the end of the year," Bradley said.

"I couldn’t say a bad word about Danny. He’s been brilliant to deal with, it's just one of those things.

"He wants to challenge himself somewhere else
