Manchester United vs Newcastle LIVE early team news, score predictions and predicted line-up

Manchester United will be looking to build momentum and pick up another three points in the Premier League when they take on Newcastle United on Sunday.

United have responded well since they were handed a 6-3 thrashing by neighbours Manchester City by winning their three following matches. They may have only narrowly saved their blushes twice against Cypriot side Omonia Nicosia in the Europa League but did get a good, hard-fought win at Everton last weekend.

Now they welcome the inform Magpies to Old Trafford, who are undefeated in their last four matches, winning their last two and scoring nine goals in the process.

Erik ten Hag is hopeful that Anthony Martial will be available for the game but Harry Maguire remains sidelined.

"Anthony Martial can be but we have to wait to see how he develops in the coming hours," the manager said. "Harry Maguire will not make this [game] but it doesn't take long, I think. I think next week he'll be back in team training or over [the] next week."

The response to that embarrassment has been positive, on paper at least. You
