Manchester United's legends will welcome Liverpool's legends to Old Trafford on Saturday afternoon.

The 'Legends of the North' fixture will raise money for the Manchester United Foundation, with all proceeds from the match being used to help children across Greater Manchester. Bryan Robson will manage the United side for the home leg this weekend.

Robson said: “It’s always exciting playing against Liverpool; even in legends games that rivalry is still there. But, it is also about raising money for Manchester United Foundation, which really helps to encourage and educate young people in communities."

Gary Neville will captain United and Diego Forlan, Patrice Evra, John O'Shea, Mikael Silvestre, Jaap Stam, Wes Brown, Louis Saha, Dimitar Berbatov, Nicky Butt and Antonio Valencia among others will represent United against their fierce rivals.

Jamie Carragher is the headline name representing Liverpool and his side will be managed by Sir Kenny Dalglish.
