Manchester United Under-21s vs Chelsea LIVE match updates from Premier League 2 fixture

Manchester United U21s take on Chelsea in the Premier League 2 today. The U21s are enjoying a brilliant season and will go top of the division if they beat Chelsea at Leigh Sports Village this evening.

Travis Binnion oversaw the first half of the campaign, but Binnion helped Darren Fletcher during his caretaker stint and was retained as part of the first-team staff after Michael Carrick's appointment.

Adam Lawrence was appointed as U21 manager for the remainder of the season when Binnion was confirmed in Carrick's backroom staff. Lawrence was formerly Under-18 boss before he departed the club last summer.

Chelsea are just two points adrift of United and will ask questions of the Reds.
