Manchester United transfer news recap Rasmus Hojlund and Andre Onana bid latest

Manchester United made their first signing of the summer transfer window yesterday as Mason Mount's arrival from Chelsea was confirmed. England international Mount joined for an initial £55m to become the maiden fresh face at Old Trafford this summer.

But the 24-year-old will not be the last signing Erik ten Hag makes this summer, with a new goalkeeper and striker also on the agenda. After David de Gea technically departed following the expiry of his contract and amid uncertainty over whether he will sign fresh terms, Andre Onana of Inter Milan has been pinpointed as the first-choice goalkeeping target for Ten Hag's outfit.

And a new face at the top end of the pitch has been a clear priority for some time. The likes of Harry Kane, Victor Osimhen, Rasmus Højlund and Randal Kolo Muani are all targets who have been identified by the Old Trafford club.

But it is not just additions which are expected this summer. Outgoings are also anticipated over the coming months to help boost the club's transfer budget.
