Manchester United transfer news LIVE Man United vs Man City reaction and Cristiano Ronaldo updates
Manchester United lost 4-1 to Manchester City in the Manchester derby on Sunday afternoon.
United conceded early against City on Sunday afternoon but Jadon Sancho's goal brought them level. Pep Guardiola's side regained the lead shortly after that finish and United went into the break behind and saw Riyad Mahrez adding a fine third in the second half.
Mahrez scored another in stoppage time to pile more misery on United, who were embarrassingly passive in the second half.
Sunday's defeat is the latest woeful performance against City after the reverse fixture at Old Trafford earlier this season.
Arsenal have overtaken United in the Premier League table and the Reds' Champions League hopes seem to be in pieces.
