Erik ten Hag will continue to formulate a plan for the future of Manchester United today.

The Dutchman was introduced to the media as the new United boss on Monday after being officially appointed back in April. Ten Hag will have several priorities over the coming months ahead of the new Premier League season starting in August.

One matter which will be at the top of the agenda will be addressing the club's defensive frailties. United conceded a dismal 57 goals this season, four more than relegated Burnley.

Jurrien Timber is currently being heavily linked with a move to Old Trafford this summer. Ten Hag coached the Dutch 20-year-old at Ajax and, despite his age, Timber became an ever-present in the Amsterdam club's squad.

It is expected that United will complete a huge overhaul this summer as they look to improve on their position in 2022/23. A defensive midfielder and striking options are also among the club's priorities.
