Manchester United transfer news LIVE Copenhagen vs Man Utd early team news plus injury latest

Manchester United are back in action this evening as they face FC Copenhagen at Parken Stadium in the Champions League.

Erik ten Hag's side were off the mark with a dramatic 1-0 win in the reverse fixture a fortnight ago, Harry Maguire scoring the only goal and Andre Onana saving an added-time penalty. They then lost consecutive home games before beating Fulham at the weekend.

United won at Craven Cottage without Marcus Rashford but the forward is fit and available for this evening's European clash, while Maguire has also come through okay after picking up a couple of knocks. Ten Hag did confirm some bad injury news on Tuesday, however, admitting he expects neither Casemiro nor Lisandro Martinez back before Christmas.

Meanwhile, prospective investor Sir Jim Ratcliffe has held talks with United co-chairman Joel Glazer. The pair have discussed plans via video calls. The former is keen to secure a 25 per cent stake in the club and it is understood that they have discussed potential changes to United's structure, including possible personnel changes.

United have another must-win game against F.C. Copenhagen in the Champions League tonight.

United bounced back after successive 3-0 defeats against Manchester City and Newcastle to claim an important three points against Fulham in the Premier League on Sunday, despite the performance being unconvincing again.

Regarding the team news, Casemiro remains unavailable with a hamstring injury and he's set to be sidelined until Christmas, but Victor Lindelof will be available again after missing the Fulham game due to illness.

Our writers have had their say on how United should line up, and you can see what they think here.
