Manchester United transfer news LIVE Alejandro Garnacho injury latest plus Amad Diallo stance

Manchester United will turn their attentions onto Europa League action and their quarter-final second leg at Sevilla on Thursday, following Sunday's convincing 2-0 win at Nottingham Forest.

The Reds collapsed in the opening leg at Old Trafford, throwing away a two-goal lead in the final minutes. Equally concerning for Erik ten Hag will have been the injuries, which continued to mount up over the weekend with Tyrell Malacia and Marcel Sabitzer absent for Sunday's win.

There was some good news on Monday, however, with Alejandro Garnacho posting an update of him wearing football boots for the first time since his injury. The Argentinian was forced off in the 0-0 draw with Southampton, but will hope to return soon.

Elsewhere, Ten Hag is open to keeping Amad Diallo within the United first-team picture next season following the young winger's outstanding season on loan at Sunderland.

Today's big talking point: Do you think Amad deserves a shot at the first-team next season? Have your say here.

Some good news on the United injury front, with Alejandro Garnacho back and in his boots!

Erik ten Hag is open to including Amad in the United squad next season as he approaches the end of his loan with Sunderland.

The 20-year-old winger scored his 12th Championship goal of the season in the 2-1 win against Birmingham on Saturday as Sunderland push for the play-offs.

Ten Hag and United staff are pleased with the Ivory Coast international's development, having suggested he required a "run of 10 starts" to showcase his qualities.

United regard the Championship as an essential environment for young players with the technical ability to return to their first-team squad.
