Manchester United summer signing can prove doubters wrong against player he replaced

Manchester United face Fenerbahce in the Europa League tonight. This is a key early game in the new competition format, and it also brings up a reunion with Jose Mourinho.

Ugarte vs Amrabat

Manuel Ugarte has had a slow start to life at Old Trafford following his £42million move from Paris Saint-Germain, but he is guaranteed another chance to impress in Turkey.

The Uruguayan has failed to oust Casemiro from the starting XI so far. His only starts have come against Barnsley, FC Twente, and Tottenham. He struggled in the 3-0 defeat to Spurs and has played only two minutes in the three matches since then.

But Ugarte, Casemiro and Christian Eriksen are the only midfielders in the squad, and that trio looks certain to start. For Ugarte, it is a chance to show his class against the player he replaced in the United squad.
