Manchester United suffer injury worry as star limps off vs Crystal Palace
Luke Shaw hobbled off midway through the first half of Manchester United's clash with Crystal Palace on Sunday to hand Michael Carrick a potential injury blow. Shaw has had a horrendous injury record since his move to Old Trafford in 2014 but has managed to stay injury-free this season.
The left-back looked to be holding his foot as he was seen to by a member of the medical team. Shaw had earlier been caught on the foot by Palace full-back Daniel Muñoz but it is unclear whether that is the incident that led to his substitution.

Shaw was starting his 27th game of the season for United. The England international was replaced by Noussair Mazraoui with United 1-0 thanks to Maxence Lacroix's early strike. Leny Yoro took much of the blame for the visitors' opener as he lost his man and allowed Lacroix to head home.
Michael Carrick will provide an update on Shaw's injury in his post-match press conference. Shaw was seen shaking his head as he left the field.
A lack of European football and poor performance in both domestic cup competitions means United's fixture schedule is nowhere near as stacked as it usually is. Wednesday's game against Newcastle is followed by an 11-day break before United host Aston Villa and so Carrick will hope the extended break between games allows Shaw time to recover and not miss too many matches.
