Manchester United star Marcus Rashford's brother arrested in US on 'domestic violence' charge

The brother of Manchester United and England footballer Marcus Rashford is set to appear in court in the United States after being accused of domestic violence.

Dane Rashford, 31, was arrested in Miami Beach in Florida on October 20. He appeared in court the following day where, ahead of his pre-trial hearing, his bond was set at $1,500 (£1,224), according to police records reported by the Mirror.

Assistant State Prosecutor for Miami Dade County Daysi Vega-Mendez told The Telegraph: “The case is still active, at the moment I haven’t been able to get hold of the victim. Our office is trying to get hold of the UK Embassy because we need permission to speak to the victim.
