Manchester United squad vs Southampton revealed including Cristiano Ronaldo and Alex Telles

Manchester United players have arrived at The Lowry Hotel before their Premier League game vs Southampton.

First up to the plate on Saturday afternoon (12.30pm), the Old Trafford giants can send out a marker to their fellow top-four contenders with an early victory over the Saints.

United started brightly in their last match against Burnley at Turf Moor.

However, they were ultimately pegged back by the rock-bottom Clarets as Jay Rodriguez netted soon after the restart to cancel out an opener from World Cup winner Paul Pogba - back in the fold after three months on the sidelines with a thigh problem.

But focus has already shifted to this upcoming challenge against Southampton tomorrow lunchtime.

United are set to be without Eric Bailly (ankle), Fred (Covid-19) and Nemanja Matic (shin).

It was hoped that Alex Telles might force his way back into contention after Covid-19 - and the Brazilian defender has been pictured with the United squad as they made their way to the regular, overnight pre-match base.

Among those spotted by Manchester Evening News snappers were Premier League player of the month David de Gea, Victor Lindelof, Jesse Lingard and Marcus Rashford.

Naturally, five-time Ballon d'Or winner Cristiano Ronaldo took centre stage as promising Academy starlet Anthony Elanga continues to make his way in the first-team environment.

Of course, there is still a chance that others not seen on arrival might team-up with the rest of the squad before kick-off tomorrow lunchtime.
