Congratulations on being appointed as Manchester United's first head of fan engagement. From what we've heard, you're the man to strengthen relations between the club and its fans and there is certainly a lot of work to be done on that front.

With more questions than answers that currently persist at Old Trafford, it's important some serious issues get raised with the club.

So, we wanted to make sure that these five questions are addressed to the board of Manchester United as they are issues that concern the fanbase.

1. After the European Super League scandal, United supporters were promised better communication but so far, that hasn't happened. Can you explain why?

Joel Glazer was all talk after the debacle that threatened the very foundations of European football and even attended his first fan forum meeting. But that's not exactly anything to gloat about.

Seeing as United have failed to live up to expectations this season, fans should be getting some answers. It's not right that we're treated like pawns on a chess set and it's about time there's more communication from the owners.

2. What will be the specifics of Ralf Rangnick's consultancy role?

We all know that Ralf Rangnick will be moving up to a consultancy role when his stint as interim manager ends, but no one knows what he'll be doing.

With reports of United being close to appointing a deputy football director to John Murtough, many are wondering what on earth is going on.

Is Rangnick going to be part of the football director department? How much power will he have? Is this essentially the same job for three people? Fans need some clarity on the matter.
