Manchester United prospect compared to Chelsea's former Man City star Cole Palmer
Manchester United youngster Jack Fletcher has been compared to former Manchester City star Cole Palmer as he continues to make his way through the famed Academy system at Old Trafford.
Fletcher, 16, put in an impressive performance for United in their 1-0 FA Youth Cup win over Derby County on Tuesday night. United signed Fletcher and twin brother Tyler - the sons of former United midfielder and current technical director Darren - from neighbours City this summer. Tyler, also 16, was not involved in the Derby game.
Jack was and the fleet-footed creative midfielder was a standout performer for the Under-18s in victory. He trained with the first-team last month and could be destined for a bright future.

The youngster, wearing the No.10 shirt at Old Trafford against the Rams, displayed quick feet, an excellent passing range and positional intelligence despite playing two years above his age-group. And the playmaker is being likened to current Premier League talents such as City-nurtured Palmer.
Jack took to Instagram after the win and it was on that social media platform he was compared to Palmer by the watching Gabriel Bianchieri - also part of the Academy system. Jack uploaded a team image from the Derby game on to his account and Bianchieri was among the first to comment. He said: "Cole Palmer in disguise?"
A succession of other replies followed, including one from twin brother Tyler, as Jack received countless plaudits for his display. United youngsters Joe Hugill, Louis Jackson and Sam Mather were among those to comment.
