Manchester United players party at Melbourne's hottest nightclub

Manchester United's players partied at one of Melbourne's most exclusive nightclubs ahead of their clash with Crystal Palace at the MCG on Tuesday night.

The likes of goalkeeper David De Gea, midfielder Scott McTominay and young gun Alejandro Garnacho were spotted at the trendy Ms Collins nightspot in the CBD - as a host of Red Devils raved about playing football in Australia.

Some 74,000 fans attended United's 4-1 win over Melbourne Victory on Friday at the MCG, with approximately 80,000 spectators expected at the same iconic sporting venue when United face the Eagles on Tuesday.

Gun striker Marcus Rashford certainly appeared open to the idea of EPL friendly matches being permanently staged in Australia.

'The facilities have been good, the stadium (MCG) has been nice, the fans have been supportive and there has been an atmosphere everywhere that we go,' the England international told the Herald Sun.

'So if it was possible, I'd say yeah. Bring some more games here.'

United midfielder Scott McTominay was on the same page, stating the possibility of staging annual pre-season games in Melbourne was definitely an avenue to explore.

'Yeah of course,' he said. 'The fans are crazy, they are more than capable with the fan capacity in stadiums to host some more games. 

'We are just so blessed and excited to have this many people who support us and we are so grateful.'

United were last in Melbourne back in 1999 - with this tour their second visit to Australian shores in four years following two games in Perth in 2019.
