Manchester United-linked defender admits his ‘gut feeling will be deciding factor’ in transfer decision
Ajax defender Jurrien Timber has said that his “gut feeling will be the deciding factor” as he weighs up a move to Manchester United this summer.
Ahead of the 2021/22 campaign, Erik ten Hag has become the club’s new permanent manager, and many of his players at Ajax have been linked with a move to Old Trafford.

One player heavily linked is Timber. The 20-year-old defender can operate as a right-back and a centre-half.
He is believed to be rated at £43m and The Guardian have reported this week that Ten Hag ‘wants to make the defender one of his first signings’.
Whilst on international duty with the Netherlands, Timber was quizzed about his future intentions. He did not give a lot away as he admitted that he can still “develop” well with Ajax.
