Writing on their website, United said the design "draws on the city's rich cultural identity, bringing together heritage references and modern construction in a design that celebrates the communities that continue to play an important role in Manchester life."
On the finer details of the shirt, they added: "A bespoke floral graphic wraps across the shirt, featuring hand-drawn rose illustrations engineered directly into the fabric. Inspired by artwork found across community spaces and cultural institutions throughout Manchester, including Salford Lads and Girls Club, the pattern adds subtle depth to the jersey while creating a distinctive visual identity rooted in the city."
